Data Collection

Prompt Leak Guard does not collect, sell, rent, or transmit prompt text, scan results, browsing history, or personal information.

Network Activity

The scanner has no backend service and no analytics SDK. The extension source does not call fetch, XMLHttpRequest, sendBeacon, or third-party analytics services.

Local Processing

Text entered into the popup or typed into supported AI chat fields is scanned locally using JavaScript pattern matching. Sanitized output is generated locally in the browser.

Browser Storage

Prompt Leak Guard uses browser extension storage only for simple settings, such as whether live warnings are enabled, whether personal data checks are enabled, and the offline license code used to activate the extension.

License codes are verified locally. They do not cause prompt text, scan results, or browsing history to be sent anywhere.
